March 14, 2016: Mod Makers Who Still Plagiarize Will Be Banned

Plagiarism is a fine line to cross. It�s a waste of the time & resources of the one doing the unauthorized work & of the time of the ones playing the mod. It can only ruin the reputation of the ones copying the ideas. When in doubt, ask permission for maps, code, layouts, graphics, sounds, music, concepts, or etc. Please credit where you�ve gotten the intellectual property for your mod.

It would be a waste of Brian�s time if he were still the webmaster of The Wolfenstein 3D Dome & putting the copied mods online. It�s a waste of my time when I put the mod on Wolfenstein Goodies or of Tristan�s time if he were to put the mod on The Wolf Front.

That having been said, I have had a chat with Dark_wizzie, the other Wolf 3D Haven moderator. We have decided that anybody who still plagiarizes any more mods, especially where we can tell where it came from, will be banned from The Wolf 3D Haven.

If you are uncomfortable with your mod still being on The Wolfenstein 3D Dome, Wolfenstein Goodies, The Wolf Front, or a Wolf 3D Haven thread because it�s plagiarized, outdated, or whichever, then contact us & we�ll see if we can take it down. Contact me if you suspect that somebody is copying your intellectual property in your game.

On ken-obrien79's Soundcloud page there's 6 synthesizer-themed music tracks of Wolfenstein 3D or Spear of Destiny and 4 of Ultimate Doom or Doom II: Hell on Earth. The others all seem to be Super NES music including Donkey Kong Country I & II, Ninja Warriors, Super Mario World, Super Ghouls & Ghosts, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Demons Crest, Castlevania, Castlevania X, Super Castlevania 4, & Street Fighter II. It has a lot of variety. It has a feel that Ken did a lot of research and put a lot of time into this playlist. I think that it's a great playlist to listen to while checking email. May 5, 2015: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

For May 5, 2015, today, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is for sale. It's 20 American dollars for PC, PS4, or X-Box One. I understand that it's a prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order and takes place in the parallel universe timeline where it's 1946 and the Nazis still haven't lost. While in reality, Hitler killed himself on April 30, 1945. So maybe it's a parallel universe where the war continues on anyways after Hitler's death?

November 15, 2014: Wolfenstein Goodies Renewed Until October 2022

I had forgotten to mention a year and a month ago that Wolfenstein Goodies is renewed until at least October 2022. Webmaster Brian of The Wolfenstein 3D Dome updated his page for 15 years and I don't anticipate updating for much more than 15 years.

November 13, 2014: M4 Group

The M4 or http://www.enigmaathome.net/ Project has 1 remaining Enigma message left to crack. They were intercepted as special messages of a kind of Enigma Code with an extra dial. Post on the message board if interested. There are other Distributed Computing Projects and the most famous one must be SETI. Personally, I'm participating in a project that I don't know if you'll understand or appreciate instead of The M4.

November 12, 2014: New Enigma Code Movie

The 2001 Enigma movie had Kate Winslet. The 2014 Imitation Game movie with a trailer here, has a release date for today at The Napa Valley Film Festival. Keira Knightly is in it. At 1:16 The Writer automatonreminds me of the Enigma Machine because it also has cogs, letters, and mind-boggling workings.

I have an Enigma theme for a couple days. The Enigma code appears in Wolfenstein: The New Order, a RTCW single mod, a RTCW multiplayer mod , and a Call of Duty Modern Warfare mod.

October 26, 2014: 3D Realms Anthology & Soundtrack

3D Realms Anthology is 32 games and a soundtrack. This doesn't include Spear of Destiny Trilogy (Never sold by 3D Realms?), Shadow Warrior (2013), Prey, Max Payne 1, Max Payne 2, and some of the abandonware like Wolfenstein 3D Super Upgrades. The 3D Realms Anthology Re-rockestrated soundtrack is a hefty 800+ megabytes. The games combined are a 400+ megabytes. The price is $39.99. According to Mashable, Playstation TV is released tomorrow. You get to buy Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein (2009), PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, PS Vita, streaming games, movies, tv shows, music, and etc. Pre-order from Amazon for $99.99.

October 12, 2014: Free Dragon Age Origins

For a limited time, Dragon Age Origins is absolutely free in the "On the House" section on Origin.com. EDIT: For some reason, it isn't free anymore.

October 11, 2014: New Nintendo 3DS & 3DS XL

New makes and models of Nintendo 3DS & 3DS XL consoles are available in Japan today. The US and European launch dates aren't known yet. I don't know yet if there's ever going to be a Wolfenstein or Doom game for The 3DS.

September 23, 2014: Wolfenstein: The New Order Patch

TDS.net's portal and CNN are reporting what could be the biggest data breach ever. A hacker group stole 1.2 billion passwords and usernames from more than 420,000 web sites. It's a good idea to change passwords on a regular basis.

Commander Keen or Billy Blaze is the 8-year-old interstellar traveling boy made by ID Software before Wolf3D. I don't benefit financially from this project on indiegogo.com. Please pay $3 for the game or $20 for the game with your name in the credits. I paid to have my name in the credits!

Wolfensteingoodies.com is done through Startlogic.com. I've gotten Startlogic.com promotion codes in the mail for an advertising service that I'm not interested in and they expire on June 30. June 17, 2014: I Need An Email Acquaintance

At least 7 of you want to play Wolfenstein: The New Order, which won't work on my computer. I need an email acquaintance from Wolf 3D Haven, or Diehard Wolfers whom has the game running and we'll possibly discuss next month which Wolfenstein: The New Order videos from Youtube should be put on Wolfenstein Goodies. We'll discuss saved game states to upload, graphics cards and etc. My email address is the picture on the home page and put Wolfenstein: The New Order in the subject line.

June 16, 2014: Hotud.org moving? & Wolf3D copyrights.

I'm confused as to whether the abandonware page of Home of The Underdogs will be taken down or moved. It's a site I recommend. A keyword search for Wolfenstein on hotud.org reveals 35 games related to Wolfenstein or mentioning it. I want to post these games later. Note: Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein are abandonware, but Wolfenstein 3D isn't, so don't put a link on the forums to the commercial Wolf3D or Spear of Destiny files.

April 8, 2014: Windows XP.

End of extended life support for Windows XP Service Pack 3 according to this Microsoft page. I would hook up my Windows XP computer today to get the final official Microsoft updates, updates for printers, drivers, and etc. Then I'd save my XP computer only for when I need to play older games, copy Iomega Zip disk data, and copy regular 3.5 inch disk data.

February 8, 2014: Macintosh Scarab of Ra Freeware Version

The Scarab of Ra (now on Youtube) is a 1980s Macintosh game that now has an emulated freeware version. It was 3D before Wolfenstein 3D, but it had no animations. You just walk to the next square by clicking on the arrows. The first level at the pyramid top was 3x3 squares, then 4x4 squares, and so on. My character seemed to die around level 10. The object of the game apparently is to get the staff of Ra, scarab of Ra, another artifact, and exit alive. It's on my Macintosh page.

February 7, 2014: Bobsled & Other Freeware Macintosh 3D Games

Today is the first day of The Sochi Winter Olympic Games. "Bobsled" from "Epyx Presents Winter Games By Action Graphics" is the first 3D perspective animated game that I ever remember playing. But only part of it, one window, is 3D. I've started a black-and-white Macintosh and Macintosh Plus page that will have freeware 3D games like flight simulators, adventures, and RPGs.

Feb 6, 2014: Team Raycast's Operation Eisenfaust: Origins: Xmas Pack

I was unaware in 2012 that Operation Eisenfaust: Origins had a Christmas pack. It includes the original Operation Eisenfaust: Origins with 29 story mode regular maps, 3 story mode secret maps, 10 bonus maps accessed by collecting items, and 6 new Christmas pack maps. Fences can now shock you. Xmas pack mappers are RonWolf, DoomJedi (detailed credits in "Xmas pack ReadMe.txt") The 6 exciting Christmas bonus maps are accessible immediately including 1 revisited scrapped bonus map from original "Eisenfaust!" New maps make a good use of "Eisenfaust" features and ideas sometimes underused in the original game. Read the Haven thread or download it at Wolfenstein Goodies or the moddb.com thread.

February 5, 2014: Vincents Schousboe's Krankenstein Hospital

There are 39 seamless maps. It includes Brian Lowe's exe from 'Revival of Memories' and there is a 'normal' and an SDL version. The SDL version works better (many Hitler's ghosts). All information and credits are in 'READ THIS' in the game. Download non-SDL or SDL.

February 4, 2014: The Secret of Graal Web Site Updated

The Secret of Graal web site has been updated here. It's made by Daniele Fardin with music by his wife Elena Betteto. There's a professional looking animated intro screen in Italian for Human Games. There are no save games and you have to remember a password to go back to your map. Download.

February 3, 2014: Ipank7000's Trilogy - iLow 3D SDL

Ipank7000's Trilogy - iLow 3D SDL has 28 regular and 2 secret maps spread out over 3 episodes. Features include new graphics and firing 2 pistols at the same time. The toggle features are 1) Enable wall sounds 2) Color flashing & 3) In-game message. There's a thread and a download of the February 1st file edited to make it easier for 100% on the levels.

February 2, 2014: PDGamer2012's The Spear Ver 3

PDGamer2012's ver 3.0 of his 2nd Wolf mod The Spear. It's pretty much the same exe wise as it was when released in 2011 but ver 3.0 has 2 extra keys even though they don't show on the status bar. The maps have obviously been slightly changed to adapt to the new code changes, some later maps require 3 keys and access to super secret maps & areas are now well hidden (often where one wouldn't expect a secret area). There are also a couple of different songs new to version 3.0 he converted to IMF himself, it still retains the original Spear of Destiny style very well and includes a detailed word document. 18+1 normal, 2 secret, 6 super secret, and 2 ultra secret maps. It runs smoothly in DOSBox. Download.

I read that the X-Box One's American release date is this week. I understand that Wolfenstein 2: The New Order will be released for The X-Box One in Spring 2014. 10 Things You Didn't Know About XBox. #6 in the video is about NASA and reminds that I've read in Ripley's Believe It Or Not that the Hubble Telescope's computer only has the capabilities of a 1990s computer. I wonder if that Hubble Telescope computer can play Wolf 3D and Doom!

Valve is looking for beta testers for their new console hardware. It should take an hour. At first they are only looking for people in the Seattle/Bellevue area in Washington state. People in other geographic areas can be beta testers online later. Learn more here and here. I have no idea if they will have a Wolfenstein game like The PS3 has Wolfenstein 3D.

Leon Gets Medieval is a Wolf 3D/Doom clone made by a Computer Graphics class at Purdue University. Leon is a comedian impersonating a pimp who time travels to fight the undead somewhat like in the movie, "Army of Darkness." He fights green zombies, a black knight boss, muscular wolfmen, vampire gigolos, and a vampire hooker boss. Leon is rather entertaining. It's a 50 megabyte file.

-Return of The Triad for Doom 2 gives you the option of single or multiplayer. There's also The Simpsons and a Half-Life and Duke Nukem video. Both of them have different enemies and textures for levels 31 and 32 of Doom 2. With Photo Negative Doom 2, you get to see levels 31 and 32 in a new way. Commander Keen Test is just one enemy changed to Commander Keen, another enemy changed to a pig, and items changed. Doom 2 sold in Germany doesn't have the WolfenDoom secret levels.
-A link to Laz Rojas' WolfenDoom and Astrostein conversions for Sega Dreamcast is added on The Wolf3D in Doom 2 list.
-Wolfenstein Goodies will only be updated every week or two for now on.

Realm 667 dot com is turning 10 on May 19th in Eastern Standard Time or technically May 20th in Germany's time zone. For the 10th anniversary, I added a page of saved games and goodies for TUTNT ver 1.06. TUTNT stands for The Ultimate Torment and Torture. It has a Wolfenstein 3D secret level, and Easter eggs for Super Mario Bros and The Dopefish.

Today is a big day and I've made other additions:
-Started the Wolfenstein 3D in The Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 screenshots and video page.
-Added a Doom and Doom 2 source ports page.
-Added Other links for Ultimate Doom and Doom 2.
-Added a WolfenDoom Linux conversion video.
-Added "TUTNT V1.06," "Pinochestein 3D," "Nazi Auferstehung," "The Vile Cathedral," and Return To Castle Wolfenstein for Doom 2.

My 300 gigabyte portable hard drive crashed in November 2009 and I lost a lot of my special Wolfenstein 3D files intended for Wolfensteingoodies. I contacted data recovery places and they said that it's going to cost $140 to $695 to fix. That's the biggest reason why I haven't updated the site as much as I want to.

Go download The Super Haven Mapset from here or here. I didn't make the maps, I just made the Easter eggs. If you find one of the 10 Easter eggs, then take a screen shot of it, save it, zip it using Winzip, email it to me at stathmk@yahoo.com, and tell me the episode and level. I will post the screenshots. When I get my portable hard drive fixed and all 10 screen shots, I hope to announce the web page to The Wolfenstein 3D Dome news.

Also, if you ever find any other Easter eggs or secret levels in other mods or total conversions, then email me.
