'anarchy' Dynerman Caught for killing For those of you who never played a Jailbreak mod before in other shooters, I'll explain what it is. The available players are separated into two forces, and the level plays like a tournament team deathmatch. There's one major difference however. Whenever you get killed, you are put into a jail cell. The only way to be freed is if a teammate hits the switch to open the jail cell. If one team captures all the people on the opposing team, that team gets a point, and the entire game starts again.Mr. Bot? Answer me please Bots play the included Jailbreak level well and will fight, capture opponents, and free their friends. There is one major bug however, and that is that the bots get stuck at the place where the jail cell switch is located. They simply freeze and run in place, which allows for easy kills (he he he). The problem with this is that it isn't a satisfying kill, and once all the bots get frozen, you are left all alone on the level. You can unfreeze the enemy by killing them, but you can't unfreeze your teammates. Giving them orders did not unfreeze them, and no matter how hard I tried, hey wouldn't budge. Update Needed As the name implies, Jailbreak is a beta, so there are obviously bugs in the mod. Everything else works fine, the only bug is the freezing of the bots. probably other maps wouldn't cause the bots to freeze, but Jailbreak maps are rare and hard to come by. An update should fix this major bug, and when it does come out, Jailbreak will be a must download. |
