Old Genre, New Style
Many role playing games have been using a first person
view for years, but the role playing aspect is rare to see in first person shooters.
Thankfully, this mutator introduces role playing to Unreal Tournament. You and everybody
else start out at level one and move your way up until level 10 by gaining experience
points. As in RPGs, you are rewarded experience for winning battles and the higher the
level of your enemy, the more experience points you are rewarded. After accumulating the
necessary experience points, you will move up to the next level. By doing so, you increase
your stats and other areas of your character. Each area is described below.

God Control
You may have noticed that whenever you get killed, you
lose half your experience. This might seem unfair to people who die, but it is fair
because it will help control the amount of people who will reach high levels. However,
this doesn't work as well as lowering a level per death because many people who are good
will reach high levels, and will be almost invincible becuase they can regenerate a lot of
health within a few seconds. The good thing is that this is customizable, so now no one
can remain a "God" for a very long time.Eggcellent
The mutator is fun to play, and can be used with any
other mods or mutators. Bots work fine with RPUT. This mutator adds a lot of depth and fun
to Unreal Tournament and other mods make for Unreal Tournament.| |
